CCAFPAA is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to developing, fostering and promoting a psychoanalytically informed understanding of conscious and unconscious processes in working with couples, families and children.
CCAFPAA provides opportunities for professionals to develop psychoanalytically informed skills to work in this area. We offer our members a rich and stimulating range of professional development activities. These include regular individual and group supervision, peer group meetings, clinical and theoretical presentations (convivia), reading groups, seminars and lectures.
CCAFPAA was established in 1998 as the NSW Institute of Family Psychotherapy. We are a group of psychoanalytically informed psychotherapists interested in developing our clinical skills and deepening our understanding of conscious and unconscious processes operating within couples, families and children.
